Got a new laptop. Get more battery life

If you have recently purchased a new laptop, you can help yourself to more battery life, by removing it. When the machine is plugged in normally, you are constantly charging the battery, this can damage it or use up its life time of charging rate. You should take the battery off the machine when used on mains power and store it safely in a dry cool place. Check the battery once a month and charge fully. This will help keep your batterys life, since you will only be using the battery when you are out and about.
